How Does DCDN Work?

The DCDN works just like the network built into most modern plants or even vehicles. It provides a uniform interface to all devices in a cleaner store. Since it also connects other devices over the same network, this opens up your equipment to extraordinary opportunities for automation.

By interfacing to a common network, DCDN compatible devices become automation friendly, simpler to diagnose, and their customization becomes easier. DCDN comes with several inherent benefits. All events generated by your equipment are automatically logged to a centrally located computer system for generating reports or for troubleshooting. Your product also has access to common in-store sensors such as boiler temperature, pressure or compressor air pressure and the a common alarm system. In addition DCDN also allows one dashboard access to your product from the central computer.

Using the simple, DCDN SDK, you can also write custom Windows programs that can perform actions based on real-time events coming from the equipment. You can also write diagnostics programs for your product that can help you save support and maintenance. Since DCDN can be accessed via a phone or internet, your technical support staff can diagnose problems with your product from their desk. Thus, the possibilities are endless.
