Hardware integration with DCDN is simple. Each DCDN node is equipped with eight I/O channels/ports. To integrate with DCDN, first identify the switches and sensors to be tapped or output devices to be driven with DCDN. For input, make sure that the signal is conditioned (several simple signal conditioners are available on the market ). The incoming signal should use a common ground with the node and the maximum input voltage must not exceed 5V. The maximum output voltage for channels 1-4 must not exceed 100mA and that on channels 5 and 6 should not exceed 1.2A. For higher sink current use relays, solid state devices, FETs etc with external power supply. The two RJ45 modular jacks can be exposed via your product's control panel. These jacks allows your product to be connected to an existing DCDN connection at the cleaner's store. If you would like to integrate the DCDN node into your product's circuit board please request the schematic diagram of DCDN nodes from Dajisoft. |
